Michelle’s life and ministry has been one of healing, deliverance and restoration. She passionately seeks to empower individuals to advance in their God-given purpose. As a speaker she is creative and insightful, known for her dynamic and pragmatic ability to both equip and mobilize leaders by providing them with needed tools, training, and practical resources.
It was through the unforeseen events of her own life that Michelle found herself needing total “re-construction”. Armed with the belief that, “if God brought her to it, He would see her through it”, she chose to reinvent, redirect and relocate. While battling with feelings of rejection and abandonment Michelle was introduced to Nouthetic Counseling and learned the discipline of looking at herself in light of God’s Word for true identification, direction, and fulfillment. Her testimony is one of overcoming, forgiveness, courage and the unyielding pursuit of purpose, and it was in 2008 CourageousMi LLC was founded.
As an Ordained Minister Michelle serves as a Biblical lay Counselor at New Life International Family Church. She received her counseling certification from the Community Impact Center of Clayton County in Nouthetic Counseling. She has participated as a faith-based consultant for the Fulton County Domestic Violence Task Force. Michelle is a Certified Life Coach through the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences© in Brandon Florida.
Michelle holds an Associate in Religious Arts from Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary located in Tampa Florida, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Christian Leadership and Management from Regent University.
Michelle has taught various weekly bible fellowship classes such as, “Self-Confrontation”, “Shattering Strongholds”, and “From Forgiven to Forgiveness”. In 2012 she took her first missionary trip to the country of Trinidad and Tobago which strongly impacted her life.
Michelle has spoken at live events such as “The Gathering of Champions Brunch”, “Day of Transformation” @ Atlanta Women’s Rescue Mission and “Atlanta Executive Support Forum” for Professional Assistants” and the Meta Leadership Factory, in Snellville Georgia.
Michelle is the General Secretary of the Breath of Life Fellowship, Decatur Georgia, under the leadership of its Presiding Bishop Jeronn C. Williams.
Michelle saw the need for comprehensive training, career pathing and mentoring for executive assistants and those that support C-Suite executives in both the corporate and non-profit arenas. In January 2016 Michelle formed Hagar’s Hands, a 501c3 organization committed to strengthening, encouraging and equipping executive assistants in pursing personal purpose, all the while serving the vision of executive leadership.
Michelle has over 25 years’ experience working with C-level executives in the publishing and media industry, and over 35 years’ experience in corporate America.
